Brittani Howell

  Brittani Howell has worked in journalism for seven years. She covered entertainment and arts as an editor in Statesboro, Ga.; transitioned to local education reporting in Bloomington, Ind.; and now leads community engagement initiatives for a health news team in the Midwest. In her spare time, she reads everything she can get her hands on. She gets stressed about climate change and sometimes channels that stress into stories about hopeful climate futures. Brittani lives in Indianapolis, Indiana, with her partner and a terrier named Samwise.

Jacob lives in the UK, having grown up in the Cambridgeshire Fens and now living in Bristol, overlooking the Avon Gorge. He has maintained a passion for the natural world, and its relationship to people, all his life. Having studied natural sciences and zoology, he now works in environmental communications with a spot of freelance science writing.
